Everton Football Club

Everton have entered a brand new partnership with US club, FC Revolution.

The new partnership will help FC Revolution set up an Academy and raise the level of player development across Eastern Pennsylvania.

Everton's online player development tool - evertonway.com - will be at the centre of the Academy development and will play an important role in the curriculum for developing players the Everton Way.

The new site reveals exactly how the blues coach players to Premiership standard and is packed with video clips, audio commentary and editorial walkthroughs to take players and coaches through the Academy journey.

FC Revolution Owner/Director, Eric Puls said:

"This is an historic day for soccer players and coaches throughout the Eastern Pennsylvania region. FC Revolution players will now receive exclusive training that follows the programme and methods of one of the world's leading organisations for player development."

Everton Academy coaches will act as technical advisers to the Revs and future visits will be planned to ensure the new Academy develops over the next 3 years.

The partnership agreement comes less than a month after the announcement of a similar partnership with Western Pennsylvania club, The Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

At the forefront of the partnership from the blues was Everton Academy coach, Tosh Farrell. He said:

"We are continuing to support youth development in the US and this is another partnership for Everton to cement our proven development programme in a forward thinking US club like FC Revolution.

"The 24 hour connection to player development from evertonway.com is key to maintain the high standards needed to make a successful Academy based on the Everton Way of coaching."

Clubs across the Atlantic are keen to follow the Everton Way to build a successful Academy. But at just £49.99 per subscription, players and coaches of all levels can now follow a real Premier League programme, just like the blues' own Academy players.

Tosh continued: "The Everton Way is a gateway into our Academy and is the perfect tool to help clubs develop.

"And now - for the first time ever - the young football fanatic from Goodison road can follow the Academy programme, just like Leon Osman, James Vaughan and Victor Anichebe all did before breaking into the first team."
