Doug Moyer has been involved in soccer for many years at the elite level as both a player and coach. A former EPYSA ODP and Regional Team player, he was also a 1st Team All-American High School player at Fleetwood. He led his high school team to the PIAA State Championship, scoring 59 goals. He scored 103 for his career. Doug was drafted by the Dallas Tornado of the NASL, but opted to play at Penn State University. He scored the game winning goal against Indiana University, sending Penn State to the Final Four in 1979.
After graduating from Penn State, Doug coached at Wilson High School and was a staff member at many soccer camps, including: Penn State, University of Maryland, EPYSA, and Big Kick Residential Camps.
Doug is currently the assistant coach for the FC Revolution U11 Girls Team.
